Maggie

Energetic, social, happy, coy, cuddly -- all those describe our precious Maggie.   She was always on the go with a need to be in the middle of every gathering.  Her smile lit up the room and her little head tilt melted the hearts of any one around her.  Maggie passed away in July 2008 due to complications during a procedure to correct a congenital heart defect.

She blessed us with the most amazing 14 months of life and instilled in us a passion to help outher families with whom we share a common bond. We determined that we coould keep the wonderful memories we have of Maggie alive while also giving back to the organization which helped us in our time of need. Thus our commitment to Children's Heart Foundation of Nevada began.

A portion of the proceeds from the golf tournament will be dedicated to Maggie's Garden, a new program being implemented by CHFN.  Located at Children's Heart Center in Las Vegas, children diagnosed with a heart defect will get to choose a toy prior to having surgery or another procedure.  Maggie's Garden is a special place where kids just get to be kids , and it will allow them to forget, if even for just a moment about the fears they constantly face.

We would be honored if you would sponsor and or participate this year to partner with us in helping CHFN continue to reach its goals.  The 2009 inaugural tournament raised more than $53,000. and it is our hope to meet or exceed that this year. With your help, we most certainly can!

With heartfelt gratitude
